Santiago Ramon y Cajal was a pioneer in neuroscience with his investigations of the microscopic structure of the brain around the late 18-early 1900's. His drawings are absolutely beautiful so I was playing around with them in my type specimen. I might do something like make my own drawings and patterns based off his to incorporate.
