YOU

quickly tried a few alternate fonts for the big "you" spread of the type specimen. here's the original in firmin didot:

took out the unnecessary period:

made the background 'you's italic:

some other fonts I tried but so far I still prefer the firmin didot:

would love your suggestions!

  1. my favorite's the firmin didot with the italic you's in the background. the italics add a nice touch and seem a lot more subtle, which gives a nice contrast to the big, clear, bold YOU in front, showing just how plain and easy the message is.
